The development of the Barents Sea shelf and training of the specialists in this field

In the paper the problems of training of the specialists for development of the Barents Sea shelf, prospecting and working out of oil and gas fields have been considered. The authors have proved that it is necessary to introduce some new chapters in the educational programs according to the International Convention STCW-78/95 (Standards of Training Certification and Watchkeeping).

The paper considers the peculiarities of manoeuvring occurring due to production objects of the transport-tugboat (the "Neftegaz" type): approaching to drilling platforms, tankers, safety anchorage in operative mode.
